Rental terms
These terms apply to every car we rent.

The driver must be at least 21 years old and must have held a full driving licence for at least one year. Some cars require the driver to be 23, and this is stated on each car page. Licences issued outside the European Union must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit. Only drivers named on the rental agreement may drive the car.

A booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation by email. You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup time. If you do not collect the car and do not tell us, the booking is cancelled after 24 hours.

You may pay online when booking, or when you collect the car, by card or in cash. At collection we hold a deposit on a credit card in the name of the main driver. The amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. The deposit is released when the car is returned in the condition it left in. No deposit is held when full cover is taken.

Cars are supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If the car comes back with less, we charge the fuel used plus a refuelling fee. Putting the wrong fuel in the car is not covered by any insurance and the cost of repair is charged to the renter.

The car may be driven only on public, surfaced roads on Karpathos. It may not be taken off the island by ferry without our written agreement. It may not be used to tow, to carry paying passengers, or for any form of motorsport. Damage caused off a public road is not covered by any insurance we offer.

In an accident, call us and call the police before moving the car. Insurance claims cannot be processed without a police report. Report any damage to us as soon as it happens, even if it looks minor.

Delivery and collection are free in Karpathos Town, at the port, at the airport and in Ammoopi. For anywhere else on the island, tell us the address when you book and we will confirm.

These terms are governed by Greek law and any dispute falls to the competent Greek courts. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Greek or European law.
